Plate Covers

Nutrivision plate covers are specially designed for use with modified diets in healthcare settings. They are watertight, steam resistant, dishwasher safe, and transparent, allowing both protection and easy monitoring of meals during preparation and service. Uniquely, including a designated area for recording key details such as name, date, diet, or ward information, they support compliance with food safety standards and improve operational efficiency.

Standard label makers, commonly used in commercial laundries, can be utilised to assign a set of plate covers to each resident or patient as required. These labels are designed to withstand repeated cleaning cycles, helping to reduce ongoing labelling costs, minimise preparation and service errors, and maintain higher hygiene standards. In practice, facilities typically require one to two covers per person for food preparation, with an additional two covers in circulation or undergoing cleaning.

Most common plate size used in healthcare is 230mm.
